Books are closed to new referrals, with the following exceptions:

I. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation referrals for Treatment-Resistant Depression (Medicare-rebated*), Treatment-Resistant OCD, PTSD, and other neuropsychiatric diagnoses (With informed consent; administered personally by Dr Torshizi)

II. Observational Research Participation (Voluntary): Individuals aged 12 and above with a confirmed diagnosis Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who voluntarily wish to participate in the International, Multicentric, Observational Study to Characterize Subpopulations of Patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (sponsored by STALICLA), are welcome to book as new patients*.

*Please note that enrolment in the STALICA research is subject to meeting the inclusion criteria.

Important Notice to the Existing Patients:

Dr Torshizi is transitioning to retirement from Clinical Psychiatry of ADHD in the near future. While the exact date is yet to be finalised and announced, all active patients of the practice are strongly encouraged to make at least one further review through the Online Booking as soon as possible to finalise their care and discuss future treatment and transfer of their care. A 45-minute appointment is encouraged.

We are still receiving TMS referrals and providing TMS treatment to existing patients who meet there best practice Guidelines said by Royal Australian and New Zealand Collegr of Psychiatrists Clinical Practice Guideline published in 2024. please check the dedicated TMS page and associated links. all TMS treatments at LocusPsych are administered personally by Dr Torshizi.
